MPS offers a 24/7/365 security regime of onshore and offshore facilities operating in and around the key asset to be protected commencing with a scope of the company security plans in line with 2009 ISPS Code recertification. The intention is to ideally have in place a tiered security cordon of a non lethal, non aggressive, Total Security Solution as opposed to a solution for only part of the problem. This affects a early warning and real time communication system of a potential security breach or threat thereof thereby allowing for effective decision making in the protection of key infrastructure. The core issue is in addressing the real local security concerns and in the physical operational implementation of sound security measures and procedures that, even if breached, would stand scrutiny from outside agencies as due diligence being practised and not just documented. With just 60 minutes notice of a pending breach in security at a particular location, who can respond with what effectively?

Our consultancy objective will be to develop and implement a security infrastructure that is fully integrated and compatible with all disciplines of the ISPS Code, SOLAS Amendments 2002 and the security implementation methods deployed within the company both onshore and offshore in the country of operation, between individual agencies, the entire management system, and regional areas. These will be cross referable with an inbuilt strategic configuration that allows for the relevant response to any given security incident that allows continued operations in the event of a component or system failure however that may be caused.

Many security companies provide an invaluable service that is however, predominately focused at senior management level due to the expertise of the foreign consultant. The ISPS Code clearly focuses beyond management level to the individual onboard a ship or the worker in and on a facility.
